Sodus Microd Club

The Sodus Microd Club is the largest microd club in New York State, with more then fifty families providing a fun, safe racing environment for children between the ages of five and eighteen. The club is a member of the New York State Microd Association (NYSMA) and works closely with this organization to help promote good sportsmanship, and provide a safe racing environment for the children who participate in this ever-growing sport.

The Sodus Microd Club is a not-for-profit organization which relies solely on support received through donations, local business advertising, club fundraising, and the support of it's generous members and their families.

In 1959, the club was established as the Williamson Microd Club, races were held at the Williamson Fireman's Field. The club moved it's location in 1981 to Spencer Speedway which is also located in Williamson. Then in 1989, the club purchased land in Wallington and established their own facility. Thus, the club name was changed to the Sodus Microd Club. Our track is still located on the same property which many members have come to think of as "home".
